We designed Bitfold holistically, taking care of the client at every stage of the process, from the first sketches to the implementation of the finished product.

We wanted to create an item that would combine functionality, security and aesthetics. Bitfold was to be not only a tool, but also an expression of the user’s individuality.

Below are all the areas we touched on during cooperation with the client

  • 1. The Beginning: Searching for Inspiration

Before the first sketch was created, we delved into the world of cryptocurrencies. We analyzed trends, user needs, and what already exists on the market. We were inspired by the severity of blockchain technology, but also the elegance of minimalist design. We wondered how to combine these two worlds, creating a product that would be both functional and aesthetic.

  • 2. Product DNA: Security and Elegance

We defined unique features that were to distinguish Bitfold. Security was a priority for us - the wallet was to be not only stylish, but above all reliable. Elegance was to reflect the value of the assets stored in it. We decided that Bitfold would be a combination of raw technology and luxurious materials. The guilloches are characteristic, which are a direct reference to banknotes.

  • 3. Design project: From sketch to prototype

We experimented with different materials, shapes and finishes. Ultimately, we decided on a combination of matte aluminum and glass, which gave the wallet both solidity and elegance.

  • 4. UX design: Intuitiveness in every detail

The usability of the product was as important to us as the appearance of the casing. We wanted the use of Bitfold to be intuitive even for people who are just starting their adventure with cryptocurrencies. That is why we spent a lot of time connecting the digital world with the physical world.

  • 5. Visual identification: Design language

The Bitfold logo was designed to reflect the essence of its operation, the signet contains 3 locks, like a safe. The minimalist form and modern typography symbolize simplicity and innovation.

  • 6. Packaging: First impressions

The packaging of the wallet was as important to us as the product itself. We wanted the user to feel that they were dealing with something special from the very first contact. That is why we designed an elegant box that protects the wallet during transport, emphasizes its value and guarantees safety at this level.

The Bitfold project is a perfect example of how close cooperation between design teams can result in the creation of an innovative product. From the very beginning, the design team was involved in every stage of the development process, from initial concepts to the final product.

What sets this project apart?

  • Holistic Approach: We provided comprehensive services, including design, engineering, and user experience consulting. This allowed us to create a product that was consistent in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
  • Rapid Iterations: By using the design sprint methodology, we were able to quickly verify ideas and make necessary changes, accelerating the entire design process.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Our design team worked closely with the client’s engineers and programmers, allowing us to create a product that meets the highest technical standards.

Cost Optimization: Through effective project management and the use of the latest design tools, we were able to deliver a top-quality product to the client at a competitive price.
